When you book ahead of time with me, I will help with suggestions on the front end of your visit. This will make a difference in the experience you have during your visit.
Steamboat is an amazing, small, ski town.
Unlike larger cities, Uber/Lyft is not always available, especially in high season. There are about 10 cars in the Uber/Lyft lot on a busy day and 1-2 on snowy days. Steamboat is about 1.5 hours round trip, so if you miss 1 of the 10, you won’t have many options. To reduce wait time and time of transport from the airport to town, you will want to book ahead of time. A shared shuttle may take up to 2 hours, depending on the number of stops before yours, and will cost around $60-$90 a person. When you book with a smaller, local company that operates all year, you’ll see the difference. These companies maintain drivers and you get someone who lives here and knows CO winter driving.
I provide a personalized, safe, comfortable, and punctual ride that takes you from the airport to downtown Steamboat in about 35-40 minutes. I maintain repeat customers who desire consistency. I offer them multiple services that are not listed.Please communicate additional needs at time of booking and I will do my best to accommodate. I live in Steamboat, eat out, need to buy gear, get skis/bikes repaired - and have my favorite businesses for all these services. As we are a town that doubles in size in the winter, the restaurants and businesses that are consistent, maintain staff, and are truly locally owned and operated are ones I recommend. My goal is to build relationships and trust along the way.
